Al is a proven financial and operational executive that has demonstrated outstanding leadership in a variety of environments ranging from start-up, heavy manufacturing, to technology. He has international experience and served on the Board of Advisors for MATAV, Budapest, Hungary.
Al has run large divisions and was the Chief Financial Officer for Ameritech’s flagship division – Consumer Division with annual revenues in excess of $5 billion. He thrived in an aggressive growth mode when he took a division of Ameritech from approximately $25 million in annual revenue to over $500 million in annual revenue, in less than four (4) years. This was accomplished by developing a vision with a supporting operational plan that clearly communicated how the business would achieve these goals and measure success.
In his most recent assignments Al developed state of the art financial, operating and marketing tools that provided real time data to be utilized in making operational and strategic decisions. The system was implemented on a nationwide basis in over 90 locations. Additionally, Al has been instrumental in launching two (2) new businesses 1) an electronic futures trading platform 2) a management logistics corporation.
Al earned his BBA from Eastern Kentucky University and his MBA from Eastern Michigan University. He continues professional affiliations and is active with the Michigan State Graduate School of Labor and Industrial Relations and works with Vanderbilt University in their Business Graduate School.
